Shawn Kalin - Vancouver

Shawn G Kalin worked with internet startups in Palo Alto, CA during the 'dotcom' boom where he learned the intricacies of successfully scaling up startups.

Developed and prototyped GOCharger brand product line with US and Chinese manufacturing partners.

Created and managed channel sales campaigns to Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Staples.

Developed e-commerce marketing and sales through Amazon.com, Facebook, Groupon and Google.

Shawn G Kalin brokered the pending licensing of products to global cellphone brand.



March 2007 – July 2009 (2 years 5 months) Las Vegas, Nevada Area
Rapidly created the brand identity and positioning for the Superstar brand in-house.

Designed the packaging, labels for entire line - saving the company 50% on costs by keeping design in-house.

Created website, sales materials, sell sheets and direct mail, email campaign for channel sales.

Designed trade show booth and successfully generated sales leads at shows nationwide for 2 years.

Conducted channel marketing and generated first sales on market totaling $1,500,000 in product to major nutritional chains including Whole Foods, Vitamin Shop, and GMC both in store and online.
